We now have a photo gallery on the website, you will find the link at the bottom of the left hand menu.
You can add your own images by going to the bottom of the agllery and clicking on the "Add your images here!" album. When the album is opened, you can pull down the Admin Options box and select Add Photos. We will check regularly and place the images in the correct category for you.
Before loading images, however, it is important to ensure your image is of a reasonable size. The most effective image size for the internet is:
Pixels: 72 per inch
Max Width 500 pixels
Max Height 375 pixels
If you don't comply to these sizes you will either get distorted images or images that are extremely slow to load. A misconfigured image can take several minutes to appear on your browser.
If you don't know how to resize your images, send them to webmaster@portdeposit.org and we will do it for you.
Finally, don't forget, after loading, to click on the "Add Comment" link so you can tell us who loaded the image, and enter a description. |
