PUBLIC NOTICE - Port Deposit Pirate Takeover Event
Marina Park Closure: From Friday, September 19 to Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 5:00PM, Marina Park will be closed for parking, fishing, and boat launches. Please use Perryville or Conowingo for boat launches during this time. Shuttles will run from the center of town to Marina Park during festival hours.
Road Closure: On Saturday, September 20, from 6:00-10:00PM, South Main Street (MD222) between MD276/Center Street and High Street/Oyster Shell Alley will be closed for the Pirate Block Party. Use the detour via Rowland Drive and Oyster Shell Alley.
COUNCIL MEETING - The next Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 7:00PM at Town Hall and via Zoom. Agenda to follow.

PORT DEPOSIT TRASH & RECYCLING SERVICE

Casella Waste Management uses automated side-loading trucks to collect trash and recyclables. To ensure efficient service for our community:

​Place your trash and recycling bins at the edge of the sidewalk.

The bin lid opening should face the street.
​
Proper bin placement improves accessibility and helps ensure your waste and recyclables are collected without issue.
