Historic Area Commission
The Historic Area Commission (HAC) works to preserve and protect the character of Port Deposit's Historic District. They serve three-year terms.

Responsibilities:

Review applications for Certificates of Appropriateness for exterior changes or construction within the Historic District (as delineated on the official Zoning Map)

Ensure proposed work complies with adopted historic preservation standards
​
Meetings:
The Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm; meetings are cancelled if there are no applications to review or no business to discuss.
