Town of Port Deposit

The Planning & Zoning Commission guides the Town's growth and development in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan and zoning regulations. They serve three-year terms.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and recommend to the Mayor and Town Council policies, ordinances, and plans related to land use, zoning, and community development

• Review subdivision plans, site plans, and zoning amendment requests in accordance with the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances

• Conduct studies and make recommendations on long-range planning issues and infrastructure improvements

• Promote sound, orderly development consistent with the character of Port Deposit

Meetings:

The Board meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 6:00pm; meetings are cancelled if there are no applications to review or no business to discuss.
