Port Deposit Pirate Takeover - Third weekend in September at Marina Park, co-hosted by the Town of Port Deposit and Community Connecting Us
Trunk-or-Treat - Held on Halloween, sponsored by the Town of Port Deposit and the Water Witch Fire Company
Holiday Tree Lighting - First weekend of December, includes a golf cart parade and decorating contest, as well as a house decorating contest.

Fire & Ice - Held annually in February in Downtown Port Deposit, part of Cecil Tourism's Winter Nights, Cecil Lights
Farmers Market - Second Saturdays, June through October, 10am-2pm at Marina Park or Downtown Port Deposit

Fire and Ice returns to Port Deposit in 2026 and it's bigger than ever!

After welcoming more than 1,000 visitors last year, the Port Deposit Chamber of Commerce is expanding this FREE winter festival with more winter magic, cozy vibes, and unforgettable fun.

What's new in 2026?

This year brings even more of what visitors loves, plus:

More Vendors: Shop local makers, creators, and small businesses.
More Igloos to Rent: Reserve your own cozy, glowing igloo for the perfect winter hangout.
Live Music: Enjoy performances throughout the day from a live band.
More Winter Magic: Yes, the SNOW is back.

Complimentary S'mores Kits: Roast the perfect treat over toasty fire pits.
Hot Chocolate Bar: Build your dream cup with all the toppings.
Food Specials: Exclusive Fire and Ice menu specials at local restaurants including Granite Run Taproom, Cool Beans Sandwich and Coffee, Lee's Landing, and D'Lorenzo's Pizza & Grille.
